What’s the difference between shared, VPS, and managed hosting?
Shared hosting means multiple sites share one server (cheap, often slow). VPS splits a server into virtual machines each with guaranteed resources (faster, more technical). Managed means the host handles updates, backups, and security for you. Our cPanel plans are shared-architecture but managed — the speed of modern shared hosting with zero maintenance on your end.
Do I need a separate domain name, or does it come with hosting?
Hosting and domains are technically separate services, though we sell both. You need a domain (like yourbusiness.com) and hosting (the server it lives on). If you already own a domain, we’ll point it to your new hosting. If you need one, we’ll register it through our domain portal.
Will my site go down during migration?
No. We pre-stage your site on our servers first, verify everything works, then flip DNS. The switch is invisible — your site stays live the entire time. Email is usually the trickiest part; we test-send from every account before switching.
Can I host multiple websites on one plan?
Yes, on our Growth and Pro plans. Starter includes one website; Growth and Pro support unlimited websites on a single plan, each with its own domain and separate file space inside cPanel.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
Two layers of protection. First, active scanning catches most attempts before they succeed. If something slips through, we restore from the previous clean daily backup — usually in under an hour. Pro plans include active malware removal if you’d rather we clean than restore. Either way, your site is back quickly with no SEO damage.
Can I use WordPress? Joomla? Custom code?
All of the above. WordPress is pre-optimized and one-click installable. Other popular platforms (Joomla, Drupal, Magento) install via the same dashboard. Custom PHP, HTML, or Node.js apps are welcome too — full cPanel and FTP/SSH access comes standard.
