Third-Party Platform Risks: The Service Provider does not control the policies of search engines, review platforms, map providers, or any third-party APIs that power parts of the Review Showcase widget (including Google Reviews and OpenStreetMap/CARTO tile providers). The Client acknowledges that at any time, these platforms may make changes to their APIs, rate limits, terms of service, or data access that may affect widget functionality, review visibility, or map rendering.
Content Responsibility: All job details, photos, customer reviews, and scope-of-work descriptions published through the admin portal are submitted by the Client. The Service Provider is not responsible for the accuracy, licensing, or legality of user-submitted content. The Client represents that they have permission to publish any photos and quoted reviews attributed to their customers.
Hosting & Uptime: The Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to maintain widget availability, but does not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, third-party API outages, or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime. The Service Provider is not liable for lost leads or business during such periods.
No Guarantee of Results: While the Review Showcase is designed to increase consumer trust and conversion on the Client’s website, no guarantees are made regarding specific lead volume, conversion-rate improvements, or return on investment. Performance is influenced by website traffic, industry, geography, and marketing practices outside the Service Provider’s control.
Service Scope: The $100/month fee covers widget licensing, hosting, standard support, and access to the admin portal for one (1) client site. Custom development, additional integrations, branded design changes beyond standard theming, or installation on multiple sites are not included and may incur additional fees.
Cancellation: Service is month-to-month. Upon cancellation, the widget will be removed from the Client’s site within 5 business days. Historical data entered through the admin portal may be exported upon written request prior to cancellation.
Limitation of Liability: The Service Provider shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business, reputation, revenue, or data arising from the use or inability to use the Review Showcase, platform changes, or third-party actions beyond the Service Provider’s control.
